Kibbutz Oasis consists of people that choose to live together based on common life values as follows:

the journey to self realization in a supportive environment.

self realization: Exploring self in a honest way by taking responsibility to everything that we are and do.

synergy

the sum of all members of the community exceeds its numbers by way of quality of each individual as they contribute their continuous progress.

spirituality

paying attention to the way we live in everything we set our mind to be, and everything we want to do in order to improve ourselves.

caring

the outcome of people that choose to relate to themselves and others derives  from knowing themselves and each other, choosing to be part of their life, showing it by helping each other the way they can.

Equal opportunities for all

The opportunity for growth is available to all and the development within the community without any discrimination.

Sharing life, shared economy

As each individual shares their life with other members of the community they’ll also be sharing the community assets, business included.

The Kibbutz will be sharing resources among the members such as monetary funds, public areas, vehicles, housing, and property while allowing for personal space for each individual. Members are expected to contribute to the best of their abilities and take as much as they need.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions…

Decisions are made based on the values of the Kibbutz in order to ensure it benefits the interests of the community. Decisions are made by consensus.

In the event that consensus can not be reached, the community members will initiate a dialogue in order to reach a mutual agreement with the exception of removal of an active member which will require 90 percent of members’ support.

Kibbutz Oasis was created in order to offer an alternative to people living in a society and are looking to better themselves in a supportive atmosphere with like minded people.

Introduction

The idea of people living together is as old as the the human race. The need to gather and hunt food, share stories and experiences, protect the village or go to war together is nothing new. Srength in numbers is a well recognized concept and is still used to this day. Kibbutz Oasis was founded on the vision and experience of people that are choosing to live together in order to grow and develop themselves in a supportive atmosphere.

The word Kibbutz comes from the Hebrew word “Kvutza” which means: A group. Kibbutz was the togetherness of Jewish people in East Europe learning their bible in a group setting, and from there it migrated to Israel and was used to describe a group of people that live together and share the community assets, work and responsibilities.

In Kibbutz Oasis we apply the values that drove Israeli communities to thrive socially and gain financial freedom and also add to those values of caring and sharing a flavor of spirituality and consciousness.
